Çetin Mert Yavuz is a senior partner and the leader of the Corporate Law and Contracts Department at Yavuz & Uyanık. He advises domestic and international clients on a wide range of matters, particularly in the areas of corporate law, competition law, dispute resolution and sports law.

Çetin Mert Yavuz is particularly active in mergers, acquisitions and restructuring transactions, share transfers, capital increases, decreases and liquidations, as well as drafting and negotiating various commercial agreements.

Çetin Mert Yavuz provides legal consultancy services to our clients with all his expertise. In addition to providing legal support for the incorporation and regulatory compliance processes of companies, Çetin Mert Yavuz provides legal advice on a daily basis to client companies operating in regulated and non-regulated markets.

In addition to his experience and expertise in commercial law, Çetin Mert Yavuz provides national and international legal support to clients in all matters related to sports law. Çetin Mert Yavuz served as an arbitrator at the Dispute Resolution Board of the Turkish Football Federation between 2016-2019.

Prior to joining Yavuz & Uyanık as a partner, Çetin Mert Yavuz served as in-house legal counsel at the Turkish Football Federation. Since 2006, he has been a member of the Istanbul Bar Association.
