Biography

Murat Uyanık is the Founding Partner of the firm. He is a highly regarded litigator who represents local and international clients in complex commercial disputes. In addition, he has vast experience in employment, debt recovery and insolvency proceedings across various jurisdictions.

His clients are corporations, financial institutions, government bodies and international organisations in actions concerning shareholder disputes, debt collection, inheritance rights and real estate. He also assists clients with the recognition and enforcement of foreign court rulings and arbitration awards.

Mr. Uyanık has comprehensive experience guiding our clients through their employment law matters. He advises clients on the labour-related aspects of mergers, demergers and redesign projects, and he helps to draft, negotiate and implement collective labour agreements. As a skilled litigator, Mr. Uyanık also provides legal opinions in complex employment-related disputes.

A member of the Istanbul Bar Association for over 20 years, he worked in the dispute resolution department of a reputable Turkish law firm for five years prior to founding Yavuz & Uyanık in 2005 with Mehmet Selim Yavuz. Mr. Uyanik is also a member of the International Bar Association.
